Wreath Making in The Walled Garden

Learn how to create a stunning, dried, seasonal wreath.

Wreaths are becoming increasingly popular as an all-year-round decoration, incorporating seasonality and key calendar events throughout events, particularly Christmas time wreaths. A wreath is typically a circular base of willow or wire to which foliage and flowers are added.

Local creator Mark learned a lot of his floristry from the Manchester-based florist FROG. Here he learnt and developed his own style before starting his own business Welshborn. Mark now grows seasonal cut flowers and foliage on his family farm in Bwlchgwyn. Mark also sells wholesale as well as creating for weddings, brides and grooms, too.

During a wreathmaking workshop at The Walled Garden School guests will learn how to create a stunning dried, seasonal wreath. Our expert will encourage you to be creative and push your boundaries, to create a beautiful masterpiece that you can take home with you and hang up with pride. A great way to make a bespoke gift, or to decorate your door for Christmas.
